My mom and I gave him a tie before he left, then I sent another one in his 'greenie' package. I decided to give him a tie each month he was gone since that is the only item of clothing he could change.
There is a little poem pinned to the tie and both have to do with each month and its holiday. You can type and print them on the computer, but he likes handwritten notes. :)
